He takes heavy gasps for breath. Feet pounding the rocky mountain. When he looks up he sees her, glowing under the LA sun. Effortlessly, she climbs up the slope and only stops to look over her shoulder, she spots him.
Maggie chuckles and her laugh seems to linger up in the mountain. She whistles and claps to get her dogs’ attention and mockingly says. “Not too fast guys. Shane is about to pass out here. You ‘kay there hun?”
